i watched them at last, and I found them breathtaking. I could only play Warzard once, about 6 years ago or so. I remembered it as a great game, but those vids have showed me it was a master piece. CPS-3 emulation noooow !!!!!!!

I'm leveling Tao up more, to make some vids with her. I don't like Leo or Mukuro, but I'll make some vids of Mukuro at least, because I think people requested it. Just let me level him up a bit to unlock some moves, too... Also, I have maxed out Tabasa's levels, she is VERY strong now. Somebody had asked (I think it was Ishmael) if the enemies get stronger too, and they DO, but it doesn't really save them from me being able to be able to beat the hell out of a couple of them who used to be kind of hard. Take that, Secmeto! (Blade is still hard, though..)

Yea man, you rock for posting these vids... I did want to see Mukuro because of the animation in CFJ that he has. But yea, thanks for the effort in putting the vids up!! =)

The sad thing is that CFJ isn't really that great, but I like Mukuro's character design, winposes and attacks so much... I wish I had access to Warzard. I wonder if I could find it in some random backwater gamecenter...

They have to release Warzard on console. And since all their doters ran away, they can also make a Warzard 1.5 with everyone playable. I want to play with the moe punch in a non crappy game.

I think you mean the video didn't show. You have to type a capital R in Rugal on the url. Maybe that will help if it was the problem.

Ahh... leveling up in Warzard... old memories.

With my friends we played also the password alteration game : around level 15, we tried to change one or two numbers in the password.
And we had more codes resulting in an higher level than invalid codes.
My best effect : changing a 6 to a 9 in the last position of the password and having my level 16 Mukuro promoted to level 32 !!!

As for Blade, there is a simple pattern with Leo which allows you to perfect him every time even at max level and difficulty... Too bad I can't remember the setup... It was something stupid like - hyperjump behind him - shoulder charge (qcf mid punch maybe) - move forward and grab - repeat till the end... I can't remember if it was really so lame, but I think it was close.
The same thing was going for Vadoll too, but he tended to break your loop with super attacks brutally.

Edit : fixed typo (level 36 is a max for the RPG Dungeon & Dragons, old 'rôliste' reflex)

Taa-kun: That's interesting, shame Leo is boring as hell.... and Valdol isn't all that hard, anyway, at least with Tabasa.
I've messed with the passes a bit too, but I want to do it the "real way".. but also, it probably maxed him out at level 32, which seems to be the limit (unless you can get... unnatural levels by messing with the passes)

It seems there are also special passwords to equip Tabaa and Leo with Special weapons, such as an eye-staff and some elemental swords (there's even a black sword which reminded me of those cursed swords of D&D SOMystaria). If you want them , just ask me, I'll figure out a way to note the passwords...

I'm interested in the Tabasa one! I have her maxed out, so I might as well get some sort of special weapon for her. ^^ BTW, I don't know if anybody noticed in the vids, but her wand works in a very strange way.... wherever you start hitting weak punch, it will stop and will attack in that position, and if you keep tapping weak, it will remain there.... I suppose it could be used to try and keep opponents within a certain area.

FUCK!!! I was mistaken. There are some indications about how to get the staff, but it's not a password. Here says something aboutLevel 30 and #100 (maybe 100 staff hits in the same vs round or something like that, as a picture beside the japanese text shows Tao being hit by Tabasa's staff... ).

Anyway there are some codes I hope you find helpful:

X stands for Vulgus' enemy spaceship (the classic Pang 1up, you know) and B for Side Arms SD (the martian which also appeared in Pang crossing the screen in some stages)

Code 1 : X X X X X

Code 2 : 4 B B B 4
______4 X X X 4

Code 3 : 4 X 4 X 4

If you wanna try some passwords for other characters, just subtract 1 to all the figures to get Tao's, 2 to get Mukuro's and 3 to get Leo's.

I can now make it to Kongou without losing with Tabasa (Kongou is her fifth opponent)

These look a LOT better. It's easier to see the animation, too. Great videos. As Tabasa levels up, I assume some (but not all) of her attacks improve, right? The Revellie Sword in particular looked bigger. Ah, what a great system. Too bad it was only used in this game and Pocket Fighter...

Since I couldn't tell you when I saw you online, thanks a lot for the videos, you know how much I wanted to see this game. Maybe it isn't the most deep or fun fighter out there, but it's one of the most beautiful ones.

Nah, I agree with Rid. The "vs." mode in Warzard is virtually non-existant, and if somebody bursts in and they don't have a highly leveled chara compared to yours, they're screwed; in addition, it gets kind of repetetive leveling up your charas (especially around the level 25 mark, where you have to beat the game each time to level up) but it's still well designed and a lot of fun.

Is there anyone who works with video software who can help out please? It would help if we could get a lossless, or like 99+% quality, conversion to a smaller format like .avi
I can zip them but I wanted to give people the opportunity to just click them. I think compressing them into .zip or .rar doesn't take enough percentage off of their size compaired to a video format conversion. Also I didn't want to ask Red to record the videos at a lower quality or shorter length, with the exception of breaking up really long videos into more than one segment.

I already saw some pics in the All About book, but watching them in motion is far better. The endings seem a bit static (well, as almost every CPS ending), but IMO, those ones could be the best CPS endings along with Vampire Hunter's and Cyberbots'.

Sure. Yeah, Iggy, I was going to make some more, but I went to Comiket during my vacation and have been rather busy otherwise; I'll make some more soon, though. Also planning on doing a few random games people might like to see (Psycho Soldier and SAR were being considered) and I'm going to go back and do better versions of all of those Magician Lord vids again. (I figured out how to fix the "screen rolling problem" some games have thanks to Warzard)

None of them? Can you download one to your hard drive from this page. There's some more vids back up now.

if not do you mind telling your ip address here or icq or aol or e-mailing? All I can do with your ip is see if there's an error message for it when you try to load the site.
