LIEK OMG GIMME TEH EMU! heh... nah it's not emulated at all yet. All that's happened is Darkfader dumped the Metroid demo. After that he changed the path in the executables and flashed it to a gba cart which allowed him to play a hacked version of the demo from the gba slot only after he booted the real demo from the DS slot. All it means is there's a way to play homebrew stuff from the GBA slot now... any emulator and DS flashcart is still really far off in the horizon.

darkfader is really fast. he always picks up on stuff like this...I interviewed him once, perhaps I should again!

I make it a habit to never underestimate the desire and amount of free time available to haxOrs. I suspect we'll see the first working emulator for the DS within 6 months.
