Okay, finally went and did it. Thanks to a friend's help, it's of decent size AND good quality. 30 minutes at 110 MB = awesome. Still a little bit of the old rolling problem, but barely noticable. While making this, I realized I'm terribly out of practice, though; there are two very sloppy and shameful deaths in it (in stage 5, two of the frogs kill me, and in the final stage I make a mistake and get killed by the second mini-boss..) I'll divide it in to stage-by-stage videos, if people would prefer that.

Edit: Oh yeah, if anybody has any questions/comments, please post them! ^^ Also spotted another terrible mistake I forgot about, where I get hit by one of the chest monsters in stage 4.... UGH. Revel in Gal Agiese's terrible Japanese voice acting (almost as bad as the English!)

Wow! I remeber Magician Lord as a great but really difficult game. In fact, I've never been able even to finish it...I'll surely enjoy the video.

I wonder if I oughta try making a rush-through video of the first section of the Metal Shark Player stage of Megaman X6, as Zero. It's been a while since I've done it, though -- and it'd have to be through an emulator, as I don't have any capture hardware to get it off the PSX.

Yes, I was terribly out of practice (as I said, I died two shameful deaths.. the frog one was particularly inexcusable).. I was worried I might botch it a couple of times, but if I had, I just would have done another shooting. :D

When I saw this I feel miserable....
I've finished Magician Lord, but only with 1547 continues...(well 15 at most...) but still some "pieces" of the game are soooooo hard for me...

I'm curious to know how many time did you've played this game.....

BTW wasn't there a ML 2 in project?? I remember an old rumor, with some pics on the web, I never found those, but still a ML 2 whould have been nice...

I think it's the kind of game which doesn't need any sequel. Maybe a remake some day, but not crappy sequels. Better to leave it alone than ruining its name.

Hmm... I'm tempted to make a video of me beating Shadow over Mysteria on one credit with the Magician. But I'm too lazy for that shit. :P

Needless to say insane skills. I've never played this game before you see. All those transformations for the main character (what's his name...) means that he'll play like Shang Tsung if he makes it to NGBC? Or maybe those transformation moves can be some of the supers/specials. Thx! Oh, and looking forward to some Asura. (when you have time to kill that is)

Just for your question the hero is named Elta.
And if one days he made it into NGBC, I think he's transormation would be DM/SDM/Exceed or whatever you call them.
