I really feel sorry for Sega... it seems like they're having more problems than ever.
However, as a slightly positive Sega-related observation is looks like Altered Beast received 29/40 from Famitsu.
Namco's Death by Degrees received the same score. Which either encourages me to think that Namco managed to improve their game a bit, or makes me worry that both games are crap.
I hear the reason Altered Beast isn't making it to the USA is that it couldn't pass Sony's approval process due to unacceptable graphics. Oh well, I would have bought it (possibly). I'll play the J-version at some point, I suppose.

It's still coming to Europe, so you might want that version instead since it will be in english. I personally don't think it'll be worth importing though. From what I saw of it, it looked very bland and uninteresting... like most Sega games lately.
Spikeout for Xbox? I hear some people are interested in it. I might be interested too.

Ah, the nearly mythical Spikeout! I keep forgetting about that game and, considering how long it's taken for a home port to come out, it seems Sega has forgotten about it as well.
Still, I can't be totally down on Sega since they are publishing the newest Tenchu game in the US next month. Hopefully this ninja trend will continue and Sega will put out a new Shinobi/Kunoichi game at some point as well. If Sega turned into an all ninja, all the time company -with the occasional fishing game thrown in for variety- I would turn into a big fan of the company.

Well I'll be, it is being released, and pretty soon at that.
Hmm, now that I think about it, it's been so long since I've touched the game I barely remember how to play it anymore. I'm sure it will be a good conversion but I won't be able to rely on my memories to be certain.
