Whoa, Mai's off to an early lead (3 to 2 after my vote for Vanessa). That's surprising considering how many people voted for Vanessa in the nominations.
Also, I like the tournament tag, Megane. I'm looking forward to seeing more throughout the contest.

My votes go for Millia and Vanessa.
Speaking of the KOF gals, I think Vanessa looks just much cooler than Mai, her design is more appealing (those manly clothes and manners of her... )
And the same goes for GG babes. In this case, Millia looks just more normal. Besides the fact I like blondes, I ussually find handicapped,scarred samurai girls a bit disgusting. I guess I'd leave one-eyed chicks for Utatane...

Vanessa and Baiken for me.
I love Vanessa's design, and she's got some great moves (especially that up-close super where she rails them with two hard punches, bobs and weaves, then smashes their jaw with an uppercut... awesome). Plus I have a thing for girls with short hair, I guess.
I like Baiken a lot... she's one of my GG favorites. Same old "good design and moves" comments for her, too. I actually like the battle scars... her ragged edges make her look tough, and she's still got a really quick good arm to fight with.

Even though I was for Mai against I-No, Vanessa owns her for free. Outfit, moves, character... And she has what Mai will always miss : she's not popular. AHA !
I don't care for GG, but the "I'm being possessed.. BY MY HAIR!" is just too funny.

While all love goes to Mai, Vanessa gets my sympathy vote for getting stuck on Team Leftover in 01.
As for my second vote, Baiken is all that while Millia isn't. That's not much of an explanation but when doing something like voting on game girls it seems better to go with your instinct instead of trying to overly rationalize your decision.

If I was better with Vanessa, I would have voted for her. Plus, it doesn't help either that I got Mai in to begin with. So there.
What can I say about Baiken? It's the sword! Girls love the sword and there are some girls that know how to use it.

I've never shared the same admiration for Baiken that everyone else seems to have, while I was actually interested the whole "possessed hair" thing Millia had going on. It's so zany, I can't pass it up.
Same thing for Vanessa. Everyone seems to love her. Given, I think she's a great design and has great moves, but against my goddess Mai, she doesn't make the cut.
