Shares the name of one of X-Com's predecessors (Rebelstar Raiders) and supposedly from the creators of X-Com, according to the press release, although I'm not quite sure what the relationship between Culture Brain and Codo Technologies is and who exactly is involved.
I can't find any screens to link, but I can say that it looks like a super-deformed X-Com. I can see single shots and aimed shots, three-shot assault rifle bursts, 'APs', and little grey guys hiding in civilian houses.
Screens should start popping up soon...

This had damn well better be good... ...but why isn't it on DS? Stylus interface might be kinda nice, y'know...

Actually, those same screenies are at the gamespot page.
I don't see my beloved XCOM skull/mushroom explosions though. I am saddened.

The features listed don't include all of the preparation for battle, building bases, and chasing down UFOs which made up half the original game. Still, it's nice to see some noteworthy games still coming to the GBA. The lineup's been pretty stagnant ever since the DS dropped.
I hope it can live up to the original, even a little. Ah, I'm buying it anyway...
