Wow, Chrono Break and World of Mana! Just when I thought Seiken Densetsu 3 and Chrono Trigger had already achieved their perfect sequels in Legend of Mana and Chrono Cross, Square Enix wants to blow my mind yet again!*

Well, just like with the vaporware Chrono Cross, having a patent on a name really doesn't mean anything in terms of the game's guaranteed development, and hopefully it'll stay that way on Mana...

Last time Square talked about a Mana game it was some month ago. And then the game was deffinitely announced as a 2D game and set for PS2.
There was a announcement because Square was trying to hire people for the game. and there were some small art works of this... will try if I can find those back....
There is two infinite things in the world. Universe and Human stupidity...Well for the universe I'm not sure....

Nope, I know what you're referring to, but they mentioned the DS, not the PS2, at least AFAIK.

1st link... http://www.rpgfan.com/news/2004/1609.html The Square link is dead but it showed PS2. I know that Final fantasy Crystal chronicles will be made on DS.
But so far the seiken stuff derectly showed something like a Ledgend of mana sequel, exactly the same arts and stuff...

And I found one on PS2 so..... Still there is maybe 2 Seiken games in works.. even if the DS doesn't interest me at all, I don't want to "break" my eyes on such pityfull small screen...as it goes, I hate handheld more and more...
Still I think the the E3 next month will show us something.

This artwork just looks amazing!!! If the game environment looks half as good as those screenshots, then it'll become the first one in my must-buy list...although I should start saving for the console now...

1st I dodn't think that the screen will be as nice as those...Even the Ps version didn't were that clear, so an a DS screen...
By the way?? how did the DS sells world wide?? for what I've herd it's pretty pityfull in france...No body seems interested by the touch screen, to expensive, and absolutely no interesting game yet...Is that different in other country?

Well, depending of how much I get to save, I'll choose between a PS2 or a brand new PC, but looking at the pace the PS2 emulators are being developed, I supppose I'd end getting a PS2...in a couple of years. I'll borrow yours till then!!!
