People are talking about Prey, some chump-ass first-person shooter announced in 1997.
Back in the day it was all "Prey... You are and you'd better!", which was (and is) completely ridiculous sounding. And somehow it got enough total dorks hyped up for people to remember it and act like it ever showed any promise or potential outside completely unsubstantiated boasting through PR people.
Now we find out it's developed by Human Head, which, while I'm sure they're nice guys, are pretty much a B-studio. I'm not saying the game will be bad for sure, but I can't wait to mock anyone at E3 who's actually excited about it.

One of the biggest features of Prey when it was first announced was a 'revolutionary' game engine, touting lifelike AI. Now it's just going to use the Doom 3 engine. Not that it matters. It's going to sell less than DNF.

Speaking of DNF--when the hell will 3D Realms give us something!?!

Keep on dream'n... it'll never happen...
