Anyone else like me a little iffy about the 3 new systems ALL having wireless controllers out of the box? I'm frightened this is a conspiracy to make you run out and spend money on batteries all the time. Even if they have a rechargable battery and come with a loading dock, there are times when you are lazy, forget to recharge, and you'll be stuck with no energy in your controller when you need it...

thats why they come with wires as well mike :)

Yeah there's still ports for wired controllers in the systems... although wireless is an option right out of the box. Doesn't seem like PS3 has ports for PS2 and PSX controllers though... which really sucks.

Everything that has been said in this topic is, sadly true. I will hate to buy new sticks and new DDR mat for the PS3.

Honestly, I don't like playing with controllers with wires ever since I got my Wavebird. But the option for controllers with wires is still there from what others have said, so don't fret.
