Guilty Gear games rumored for DS and PSP are now confirmed.

Both games use Isuka's portraits. The DS looks like a 4 way fighter similar to Isuka with some minigames and multiple platforms you can fight on.

The PSP game looks like a beat em up with up to 4 players. Buncha new "random enemies" in these screenshots.

Your thoughts....

I'm mostly thinking Ishiwatari is milking the GGX/GGXX graphics and stuff for all they're worth.

STOP GIVING US MINOR UPGRADES, DAMMIT.

Well, the sprite rehash is no surprise to me, but there are some new sprites to be found. I'll more likely get Judgement, as I hope this will be better than what Isuka's Boost mode gave us.

So, uh... is this going to be a fighting game for both systems? Or is it just a side-scroller and dual-screen fighter?

I really hope the GG game for PSP has GGXX#Reload in it or something.

This is how many games with the same freakin' graphics, though?
Guilty Gear X, GGX Plus, GGX Ver 1.5, GGX Advance (basically, same style as opposed to SD Wonderswan characters), GGXX, GGXX #Reload, GG Isuka, GGXX #Reload Slash (which better be a joke, ugh), and now these two.

10 GAMES. Come on, even Capcom adjusted things here and there between updates in the days of the million Street Fighters. I mean, I still enjoy the series but it doesn't negate the fact that the same basic graphics have been used for ten games in a span of five years.

the beat em' up looks neat and all, but these didn't really interest me (being a huge GG fan) I wonder if Arc Systems lost employees? :/

Well whats really sad is the whole reason Guilty Gear got popular in the first place is it was something fresh and original from all the minor upgrades and sprite swaps we were getting from Capcom and SNK.

W-T-F!?!

The NDS version looks horrible--like a version of PANG with GGXX characters. Plus, graphics look awful.

The PSP game looks somewhat interesting and looks a whole lot better than the NDS game. Here's hoping that it's better than Isuka...

What's wrong with PANG? I thought Captain Hog, Pink Leopard, Shelia the Thief, and Don Tacos, were drawn quite well in PANG 3.

Bubble popping and fighting are two very different (incomparable) things.

On the contrary, the problem is that Arc has too much employees.
Ishiwatari should stick to make the GG games alone again.

All I can say is I'm happy I'm a PSP owner and not a DS owner in this scenario. And the PSP game looks like the game Isuka's Boost should of been, I pray there's no turn around button is all and the characters turn around on their own.

Much like any GG game, I still pray for Fanny, Raven and The Man to make an appearance. I kind of know that's not happening, so at the very least some cool generic bosses, if I have to fight Robo-Ky as a boss again I think I'm going to puke...

But I have lots of love for Guilty Gear as I have for SF and KOF so I'll buy the game regardless.

Gamespot's got some new info on Judgement.

http://www.gamespot.com/psp/action/guiltygearjudgement/preview_6126138.html

Looks like Boost mode will have up to 20 stages, and it looks like the standard fight mode will be in as well. Kickass.

EDIT: Also added is their first look at Dust Strikers
