It looks like Edayan, but his name does not show up on the ending credits. In fact there's nothing like "Character Design" or such at the credits.
Well, I'm not Iggy but, anyway. Just wanted to share the glory of playing Gyakuten Saiban.

Also, it seems that Kumiko Suekane (VJoe artist), did some of the art in GS 1.

The artist for GS 2 & 3 is called Iwamoto Tatsurô. He also makes the original character(s) for the DS port.
He also worked on GS1 and helped that other guy who shat Mayoi and monster Chihiro and whose name I forgot. For the sequel, they got rid of the untalented guy and kept Iwamoto alone, with the success we all know.
You want the name of the GS1 artist ?
