So yesterday I was at a store and I found that the first Vampire Hunter D novel has apparantly been translated into english and is for sale. So I bought it of course. I've read a good bit of it and I enjoy it (though I thought the first anime was based on one of the later novels and not the first one. Apparantly I was wrong). I also bought the fourth volume of the Slayers novel (another thing I didn't know was translated, now I have to find vol. 1-3). I never heard these would ever get translated, and am very happy to find that they are. Does anyone know if the Record of Lodoss War novels will get translated? Because that would be fantastic.

Hey, I should get the first volume of the VHD novel sooner or later, and I've already preordered the second one... Do you know how many volumes are?

I thought the first oav was based off of like the 3rd book or something? hm....
