By that article it seems pretty true. What a horrible thought out law. To stop illegal gambling is why, but not many games involve gambling. Must of been on drugs to think this one up in my opinion.

I remember Genjuro talking about this awhile back. Perhaps he could tell us a bit more about the law? Then again, I haven't seen a post by him for some time; I hope he's not in the can for playing games.

Normal human beings would just call that ridicullous.
But then again, it maybe be a little hard to realize that, since the world is filled with such stupid people and politics (specially the politics).

I cant agree more.Thank god Turkey has no laws like this,though we dont have big gaming endustry.
Why dont greeks try to stop people/firms who provide gambling games instead of all gamers, if they want to forbid gambling?

This is pretty old. I think they've since upgraded it to public places only instead of both private and public places.
The European Commission was actually taking the Greek government to court over it, but I haven't heard anything since they announced it last year. It's probably on the backburner right now.
