Does anyone familiar with Tokyo know if there is a place in town where one can find an arcade cabinet with Real Bout 2 running on it ?

I just locked my tickets for Japan today as I go there next september for the TGS, and this time there's a strong chance I might come with the only other frequent RB2 player I know. So we'd like to find some japanese RB2 players there to have some fun. Which doesn't mean we have any kind of competition level (far from it), just that it's really hard in France to find someone playing any real fighting game instead of KOF.

Apparently the people in charge of that great site Iggy found are from 富山, which I guess is "Toyama" Prefecture ?

So if anyone can help us finding a place (or telling us where to look for such an information), thanks in advance.

Also Iggy there's a good chance I am free on friday night after work so I can come to your place and teach you some breakshots

i havent been there in a while so im not sure anymore, but the "MORE" in shinjuku has a lot of the older classic games with a good competitive crowd (it's on the street that takes you to kabukicho - im not sure how i can describe it's location...). i get owned there very badly in sfIItx and motw. they have a whole floor dedicated to 2d fighting games (which include a lot of classic games).

Thank you makatiel !

Apparently there is one at HEY (Akihabara):

One at Playtown178 (in Kamata):
http://www.st.rim.or.jp/~k-nishi/tgm/kamata.html

And one at Amusement Azpress, but I think I'll skip that one:

Argh, I knew I should have kept a diary with addresses... lol
There was this arcade with ALL the SNK fighters, classic, I think it was in the shibuya area, but I could be wrong, then again, there are plenty of them and it'd be hard to find...
(speaking of that... Playing the original Garou in an original SNK cabinet made me cry! I'm such a wuss...)

it's possible youre thinking of the shibuya kaikan. not only is it an awesome place with some sweet classic games, most of the games are 50 yen not 100 like most other places charge. i love that place.

Yep, looks like it is that place, cos I do remember that the games were 50 yen! Then again, in most arcades, the oldies are 50 cents anyway... this one just had them all!!!

LOL I suck at videogames too, especially against those japanese with mad skillz! What I really liked were the versus machines where you have 2 machines back to back and each player has his own screen... You don't see you opponent unless you stand up and go around your cabinet. That was really cool (yet it might not be really economic... but what do I know?)

I don't think I could go back to having to stand up while being rubbed by some sweaty oaf while trying to play a fighting game.

Fine by me. Now I just need an excuse to bump that thread forever and ever so I get those weblinks at hand when needed.

So...

KRAUSER x LAURENCE. Who is top, who is bottom ?

I think Kikkoken's avatar should give you the answer to that one.

Actually Iggy gave me the answer (although I clearly remember not asking the question) when he tried RB2 last friday. In this case it's pretty clear, I guess, but sometimes I must admit I don't understand how you guys (and yaoi fangirls) "choose" who is top and who is bottom when the relationship isn't explicit (or even legit). I guess it's via some hardly decipherable info found in the settei...

Oh, it's just because I hate Laurence.
Also, toreador - sword - bull - the ears and the tail... Too many phallic symbols for me.

Also, Krauzer's moustache >>> Laurence's facial hair.

Well, technically I wouldn't because I'm not smart enough to have thought of it, but that doesn't change the issue here.
