Doing WHAT!?!? Making Zoids games!? Mediocre Ys ports? And what shooting games do they do other than Raiden?
I can only assume they made more money because of Square's rampant delays and crazy budgets. I'm not saying Taito is a bad company, just one that doesn't produce anything exciting. I would have thought they were out of business already if I hadn't played the Ys 3 remake.

Note how many collections, remakes and ports there are in there. I guess that answers my question. They're the opposite of Square, because they make money by not spending any.

That may just be the reason: because they are complementary. It's the same for EA who wants to acquire Ubisoft, because the games they make are totally different. I don't want that to happen though.

After seeing that Sega is attempting a GTA-esque title, Squaitoenix is sure join the battle as well.
The game will debut on the Xbox 360, star Koyori on a quest for revenge, feature high-speed hovercars as the dominant form of transportation, and use interactive shower scenes as punctuation between episodes.
