The fact that Namco slapped a secondary title on the game suggests it's going to be a bit more than the tweaking that 5.1 was. But what? New or returning characters? A horrid side-story built around the Devil Within game? New costumes and goofy accessories? Will it be possible for me to have Heihachi decked out in both his diaper outfit and sunglasses? I really, really hope so.

I could deal with a Tekken Tag game in the style of 5, but I don't really know if another Tekken Tag is necessary, or even justified at this point, unless there's someone out there who just can't stand the thought of going another day without having Kunimitsu and Steve Fox in the same game.
Tekken Tag for PSP, though, that would be a nice idea! Anyway, I'm not really sold on the idea of more Tekken 5 purchases because 5.1 sounds generally uninteresting to me, but I guess we'll see when we actually have some details to scrutinize.
Although from their wording it sounds like the game only has 2 characters. Well anyway yes it's an upgrade. In addition to the usual balance tweaks they add 2 new characters and some "newly-rendered stage backgrounds" (?). It'll be shown next week at the Amusement Machine Show.

OHMYGOD. WOW. Lili is SO cool. My favorite kind of character. Dragonuv is cool in an uncool way, too. These designs are as good as the SC3 ones are bad.
And...now you can use the lead singer of Kishidan unofficially.

I'm more interested in those new items, like that crazy hairstyle Kazuya's busting, but for new characters I guess Tekken needs those kind of characters. More meat for hungry bears.

Well Dragunov remind me somehow a mix between Go from VF4, and Rolento...why not.
When Lili derectly enter the top 5 of the fanservice queen, why Iroha. Dunno if some old faces like Kuni will show up. And with Lili, now, Yoshimitsu have found a lady for my Beauty & Beast team...

She's like a "concept character". Like sometimes you have "cool guy" characters that fool you into thinking they're cool, even though they're not. If you favor "cool guys" then you'll like them, though.
I tend to like all "ojousama" characters, so she appeals to me by default. She's also silly-looking, which is a big plus. Ahhhh...and she wears pink eyeshadow under her eyes. -I- do that!!! I wish I looked like her...even though she's funny-looking.

Nonononononono. It's not "Blonde woman with a white dress". It's "Kanzuki Karin, except she comes from Monaco". I couldn't imagine how you could improve Karin, and yet they did it. I guess that's why I'll never be character designer for Namco.
Oh, and also "Karin, from Monaco, AND you will be able to change her clothes and put silly items on her already silly dress".
