Since these things are pumped out like alcohol from the stomach of a college freshman, a week doesn't go past when an open beta isn't starting. Next week is Atlus' "Risk Your Life."
I am assuming that when you are PKed in the game, Atlus comes to your house and kills you in real life. Other than the goofy name, decent character designs it seems pretty standard. Looks like it start September 13 so if anyone is interested it might be worth a shot.

Considering it's the sequel to the second worst MMORPG I have ever played (Matrix Online is hard to beat) I'll pass.

What made it so bad? I find all these things terrible but I am horribly drawn to try every one and get bored in a day.
I can't remember the name, but some generic fantasy MMO from Korean was the worst I've seen. The characters didn't so much walk as they slid across the ground until random monsters would slowly attack (i.e bump into) you.

I played the orginal RYL beta for months. I thought it was hot stuff, but then you soon relize, that all the other classes in that game take forever to kill things and lvl besides whatever the Mage class is. I dunno how it is now, but I know it was shitty then, and most likey shitty now because the price of the game already dropped to 20 I heard...
So I will Second on that pass.

I played retail, and all the people I met said the beta was better than the final release.
