The first release is a pitiful DVD, with only a ten minute overview of the film's production as an extra. This should be worth the money.

Excellent. I'll definitely be getting it... even though I didn't really want TWO copies of this movie. You know, the copy I'll actually watch, and an obsolete piece of crap copy that I'll have no need for. Anyway, looking forward to it!

Now when will we get a special edition package for Kill Bill?

Not for a while... not with the new problems with the music in the movie... A French guy claims a song from the soundtrack in KB Vol. 2 was written by him, and now he wants royalties... Not Tarantino's fault, nor the studio's, but it's a problem nonetheless. (Actually, the guy responsible for this mess is the former manager of the sex pistols...)

Well, I don't know how much such a thing may be a problem for a DVD release, but it's not cool anyway.
