What are your thoughts?

It looks quite neat to me! The classic Nintendo games themes, the Wi-Fi playing (so you can get your ass handed to you by those superplayers)...

Maybe you can control the piece with the touch screen? You know, like touching it to make it turn and then drag it to its place...

A couple of shots

What I loved during the original Gameboy's infant years was the big number of excellent action+puzzle games that were released. Now with Meteos, Mr Driler, Mawashite Koron and this Tetris DS, there's much more on offer than I could have hoped for, except for a Kuru Kuru Kururin DS, which would be a blast. I have just bought the gamecube version and it is splendid.
Go Tetris Go! Cheers to Alexei Patjitnov !

Oh, also RO goes DS, Famitsu sez.

Supanishu

Translation of important thingies: It'll be supposedly a complete adaptation of the original, the touch screen will be used just for the menus and for chat (pictochat-like), 128 people simultaneously in Online mode and it'll be playable for the first time on the 2006 E3.

Thassaboutit.

There's this one thing that worries me though... Is that according to that page, the release will be Europe only ( {¡¡¿¿??!!)...
- Does this mean that, for once, we're in the privileged side?!
Doubt it... u_u

- Is it wrong/Is it a fake, a lie? Could be...

- Or... and this is the one I ph33r most... it means it is done by some "secondary" European programming group who :S don't know/care about the original games... like whoever did the Bubble Bobble Revolution cover, if you see what I mean...
From the 2 screens it doesn't seem so, certainly. But the ph33r is there.

Well then, you be one lucky lad:

2 more puzzles:

Puzzloop and Monster Bomber DS.

Also, Cooking Mama (for March 23rd in Japan), a... well, you can see, a cooking sim.

Oh, and the Ragnarok DS thing was a fake apparently.

I would so play that cooking game! Little chance of that coming over here though I would imagine. Anyone have more info on this game?

Eh... Literally translating...
"Of course, it'll make intensive use of the touch screen. You'll be able to cut, peel, slice, drag food to the pan, put oil on it and the rest of steps to make a good dish. Colourful graphics and the possibility of creating our own recipies complete the offer this title gives out."

Spanglish FTW! >_<

What's the point of cooking if you can't eat it?

Drooling and drooling. I do it when I watch cooking programs on TV or I read Yakitate! Japan, for example.

Exactly. The wonderfully titled Cooking Mama would let you experience the sensations and emotions that come with cooking when you otherwise might not be able to actually cook. It's the same principle that games like Final Fight operate under; it's a depressing but true fact of life that there are only a limited amount of chances a person has to get into a knife fight in the middle of a fire spewing factory. Thanks to videogames, however, you can enjoy that sensation whenever you want.

Finally a real Tetris (and Wi-fi online mode, YESSSSSS!)

Can't wait to play the cooking game (hope they bring it here!)
I wonder if you can set your kitchen on fire if you mess things up... or get 3rd degree burns, etc.
Also, one French article I read points out that the recipes used in the game will be real ones. i.e. if you try and cook them for real, it's actually great food... so they claim that the game actually teaches you to cook.

Blah!

More pics

This time they're from that NES balloon game whose name I don't remember... Uglier than the prvious ones, but no matter much.

What worries me more is that "Give up" by pressing B button option... What if we press it by accident?
