Ar Tonelico has great dialogue. Nobody has anything to say about the game except エロい. I guess it says much about the only guys that would buy a ムスメ調合RPG.
Scarlett will be Nekoneko soft's last game.
They were considered one of the grade A companies whose games would get made into anime and stuff. So it comes as a surprise that they had financial troubles. I guess they gave too many freebies to fans. They're the only company I know that would work just so they can give stuff to their fan for free, it's sad to see them go.
Revo, the king of doujin music's latest production, Gunslinger Girl Image Album - Poca Felicita only made it to 21st on the daily Oricon charts. Compared to his previous album, Elysion, which was 10th on the daily charts, it's not preforming very well. I guess people are really more interested in his original story cds than when he's writing about somebody else's story.
Fate/Hollow Ataraxia's total sales from last year was 154,015. Placing it as the top selling PC bishoujo game ever. And To Heart 2 XRATED sold 110,393 copies, making it the 3rd best selling game, after Fate/Stay Night.
And, I was going to get Dirge of Cerberus, but people stopped me saying that Bouncer was 10x more fun than that horrible game.

Yea, it's funny though, I love games like Diablo 2 and other dungeon crawlers. I guess battles are just kind of long and sometimes jarring. I'll finish with a battle and want t o go on but sometimes I'll get turned around because the map doesn't come up immediately after a battle ends.
But I wouldn't say the battles are 'that' limited. They're kind of fun...and you can't be too lazy and just attack over and over.

Edit: Just played a couple more hours.
You know, it's tough. I really just enjoyed the last 2-3 hours of playing! Some of the good things about this game include very interesting characters, nice looking environments, and actually, pretty excellent dialogue and voice acting. There's this factory thing I just got, which allows you to mix materials you got in the field and create new items and stuff, it's pretty wild =) But some of the stuff is just too much. Like the insect fighting mushi-king ripoff thing, I don't even wanna touch it. I don't even get how to catch bugs.
Yea, so this game is really love hate. But it's got a lot about it that's quite enjoyable. If you like dungeon crawlers, you might wanna look forward to this one.

Yeah -- once you get through the prison, it gets better. And then it gets kind of not better. Have you gotten to the dungeon with the two towers yet? That's my favorite dungeon. Don't even bother with the final, 100-floor dungeons. If you haven't played Tales of the Abyss, if you beat Rogue Galaxy, you should play Tales of the Abyss.
Anyway, regarding Ar Tonelico's dialogue: yeah! It's good! However, I still really, really, really like the dialogue in Radiata Stories better. At least in the Japanese version, it was just great stuff.
