I don't know if anyone here is a fan of Shirow's old Dominion manga, but I just found out there's a new anime series? The previous ones weren't so good, but I'm always willing to give a new one a shot...anyone hear anything about this? http://tank-swat.jp/

It's a 3D animated OAV series that's based loosely on the No More Noise manga. Trailer looked pretty awful, but I'd still probably buy it if it came to the US.

Looks pretty bad, but I'd probably watch it. I was a sucker for the original Dominion anime. It's still one of my favorites, but I think if I didn't see it so much when I was younger, I probably wouldn't be able to stand it.

it has a really cool papercraft tank which i kind of want. but 4000 yen for 32 minutes is just too ridiculous.

Yeah New Dominion or whatever it was called was really REALLY stupid, even for that kind of show.

Yeah, when I hear new dominion I think New Dominion Tank Police, and when I hear New Dominion Tank Police, I think TS35252 Airbats, or some other disastrous early 90's shows that were advertised in vain.
