They'll maybe be punished with a "ticket" of 1.2 millard yens to pay. (9 millions $)

Would Capcom actually MAKE Street Fighter 4 if there weren't financial problems?

The only way Capcom will make SF4 is if God intervened and told the company they couldn't make anymore Megaman games unless SF4 is produced.

Hey, that gives me an idea...

I think that there it was a site www.god.com; at least I think that there it was a site www.dios.cl (Dios -> God in spanish)...
I think that capcom had some money losing issues some years back; and they came out of it on top and just fine; most likely the same will happen again...

That would make me sad.

No more MegaMan; that is...

I can only imagaine what ingeniously broken thing Capcom could come up with to stick in SF4.

I seem to recall every six months or so there's a report that either Capcom or Atlus is in horrible financial problems and they are one failure away from bankrupcy. Seems like it's a little over reported to me.

They were trying to hide money, earnings, etc; probably to avoid paying some taxes. Thats why they got an inspection.

One report was that Capcom in the past lost a large chunk of money on some kind of bad land deals. Enough that they risked going under.

Then there was the big crackdown on wasteful spending in games, which in part was caused by Capcom having sometimes pretty insane sales expectations for their games, and in part because they tended to refuse to kill games in development. (In particular, they were overestimating PS2 and XBox game sales. So of course they cut Gamecube and Gameboy support.)

That would have been better than Capcom Fighting Jam... (or rather, Capcom Fighting PB&J)

I wont says this if I were you... I did play CFAS and it's deffinitely not a bad thing that the game wasn't released... at least like he was.

A new version with updates, in graphics, gameplay, and cast could be interesting...

Yah...it was probably atlus. Their japan sales are not so hot. They actually do better in the US, by far!
