Some more info on SFZ:Fighter's Generation. New isms galore.
And a mid-air Yoga Flame for Dhalsim?? Does their madness know no bounds?! I'm waiting for even Dan to get a mid-air Gadouken that actually falls limply to the ground rather than going forward.

There is an ISM with Marvel VS moves and powers for those who were there (but no super jumps or arial raves)

Is the ism just for the characters who were in the Marvel games or do all the characters get to use that mode? I thought I had heard that Guy's teleport was only in the Marvel ism.

Oh, you're right, they also mention a couple of new moves for some other characters. Most don't appear to have any, though.
Exodus: Nice interview about TOSE on Gama. I actually had done a little investigation on them a few weeks ago, and one interesting and little known aspect of their organization is that they have a 齋藤 豊 as their chairman, which can be read Saito Yutaka and therefore would most likely be our very own 'Yoot' Saito of Seaman/Odama/Tower's fame. The plot thickens!
Very intriguing company.
NOW IS TIME TO THE 68000 Z80 AND SH-2 HEART ON FIRE !!

woah, interesting!
yeah, they're a very odd group, and totally intriguing.
Interviews are powerful tools. I'll tell you more in an email.
P.S. the internets miss you :( :( :(

Price of Wii confirmed: According to the last Famitsu, it will cost 25000 Yens, around 174€ or around 225$.
quote:However, some enemies look really nice, specially the gun one.
Which one, the one who misses the hero 2 times before being killed, or the other one who doesn't have the time to attack before being killed ?
I find the game ugly and a ridiculous imitation of old 2D action games with a clever level and ennemy design. Maybe it's a good thing I didn't touch the series after the PS1 Alucard game.
WiiBreeding.com? I know that this may just be Nintendo being cautious and buying up any sort of Wii variation domain name instead of an actual game but... WiiBreeding.com? While the idea of a game with that subject sounds bizarre the idea that Nintendo would even bother with a domain name like that is equally odd.

The concept of the enemy is good. Having bullets that rebound aroud the place is cool. If they up their resistance a bit, and/or put more than one of those in the same room, they could be a good challenge. I'm not particularly fond of the latest Castlevania difficulties, but at least it's rising a bit each game.
And... Well... The PSX one was one of the easiest, in fact. So that's not a good comparison.

Are you saying that having wild crazy nasty bare naked sex with scorpions is more enjoyable than the castlevania series??
I can't tell, since I also dropped the series after the Alucard PSX game ;P
For the record the KoF XI trailer that you linked is the same that can be downloaded from the ps2 official site
See??? He is a God...

Or maybe if the enemies didn't take a full 10 second with a "I'm going to attack, quick, dodge !" flag on them.
And yeah, there's a reason why I stopped after Alucard.

It was entertaining, and wasn't worth continuing with this trend, that's all.
Oh goody, it's possible that the Wii only goes into stand-by mode and will merrily chug along even without you there. Even setting aside security concerns or the possibility that Nintendo can go in and shut off content in a game without notification I'm not even sure how many games in the Wii library are going to benefit from being on-line all the time. I guess Nintendo is getting into the on-line gaming trend with a vengence.

It's bullshit, the slim PS2 is not completely off when you turn it "off" (it has a red LED light), the real issue here is "can someone hack my wii while I'm away?". If so, what would be the point? I mean, it's not like it's connected to your whole house, like the PS3 or XBox360 are... In my mind, there is no real threat here... and anyway, you can block the freaking thing in your router settings if you're so concerned...

How is my 360 connected to my entire house?
Also, the difference with the Wii is that it will be to your benefit to keep it online for the express purpose of having things downloaded onto it.
You're right that you can just have the router block it if you're worried, and I have no idea what hackers would want to do with a Wii but this is still an unheard of situation that has no relevance to either the PS2 or the 360.

The plan to have all the 360's awaken simultaneously, achieve sentience, and take over the world was put on hold after the crap showing the 360 had in Japan.

The official Sega Chunsoft Sega Direct shop has opened.
I want one of those Shiren plushies. Unfortunatly most things on sale are for their Sound Novels, but if you go here you will see that they are taking reservations for upcoming items including reprints of their two CD releases: Chunsoft Game Music Greatest Collection, and Shiren 20th Anniversary Special Collection (3 disc).
Sucks to hear that about UDON. However, I am pleased to see that they are trying to get the rights to translate some of the SF manga. I would like it if they also got around to translating some of the "All About" books as well.
quote: I wonder if Udon knows about our little corner in the internet? Maybe I should invite them and we all can give them some Cafe hospitality...hmmm...

The irony I believe we need to tone it down some. As for the French gay porn ASCII (which will be now be known as "French GEY porn ASCII" because "gay" is too accepted) and lolycon l33t-ism, we need to turn it up a notch. <BAM!>

Microsoft VP and Lee Van Cleef look-alike Peter Moore declared that the backwards compatibility work for the 360 is being phased out. Is the 360's game library robust enough that they don't have to worry about the previous system's games or is it a comment that the games that haven't been emulated were considered junk by MS and not worth the time?
It seems that X-Plus USA has cancelled their Killer 7 and Tekken 5 figures.
