LOL, even as a kid I thought the movie was terrible. But seeing Mario 3 for the first time was nice, at least.

On one hand the movie was a giant advertisement for nintendo, but on the other at least it respected and showed REAL videogames instead of those cheesy made-up blip sound effects you see in other movies simulating games.
