You are correct, it's really a shoddy argument, but this wasn't directed at you in the first place. KofOguz is like a more coherent Neoshingoblah blah blah that focuses on sucking up to you rather than Iggy, and it gets up my nose. The "NO!!!" objecting to Hagen was pretty silly, but this recent post was genuinely annoying, and I still object to the word "slut". I don't know if you realize it, Pollyanna, but you automatically have an "internet advantage" in certain situations because some people think "A girl poster??? That's HAWT!". It's like in MMOs... people who pretend they're girls get all kinds of freebies off a certain percent of the "populace". Hell, just using a female character model causes it... I'm sure anybody here who has ever used a female model has been asked "U A GRLL>> " or something at least once. I'm really sorry to bring gender in to it again, but I honestly think this is a prime example of this sort of phenomenon.
Edit: To be more concise, I believe KOFOguz will blindly agree with everything you say/do and will continue to jump to your defense ala our old argument (I had forgotten about it until his post here) or that Hagen comment about you being "annoying" in some sort of bizarre form of internet "chivalry" in order to ingratiate himself with you, primarily because he believes you to be a "hawt chick" or something to that effect. He is now a "groupie". Actually, that wasn't really very concise, was it? I ramble. I guess I really am a "troll" now... I miss having friendly conversations where people weren't bashing or complaining about stuff on this board. -_-

Ok you got me there. But you forget I could be considered *sucking up* Iggy or Onslaught or Ktallguy sometimes. But beleive me. Its not that I have *internet crush* on them. You know sometimes when you are in a new group and you are the one who is complete stranger then you feel odd because you are noobly eager to be in there with them. And when you have agreement in some point with one of them and thinking the same thing at the same time makes you feel very close and all the fear of being an alien to that group is fading. In the mean time you could seem like and over-flattering bastard and sucking up to that one and I know its a little bit of annoying. What a pathetic bastard, he saw a internet girl in a forum and trying to hit on her saying *yeah I am absolutely agree*, *you are %100 right*. Yes, I do really like Pollyanna but I would really like to be closer even if it would be he. But its not like I am obsessed with her/him. Maybe I agreed with her, because I agree with her?
And more seriously, how can you say this;
quote: And more seriously KOFOguz, what does it matter what Jenet looks like? She's a fictional character. Quit trying to suck up to somebody online.
After you said this;
quote: Edit: No tattoo on her ass. It's very annoying to put her together without damaging her thumb. Athena's glasses are also way too delicate. Oh, and also, the ball-socket to attach Kula's legs under her dress = very annoying to pop in properly. All in all, I think the quality of this set is lower than the last SNK gals set yujin made.
BTW
quote: I blame the whole thing on Iggy for no reason!
Should I think that you are suckin up to Iggy cause you made an inviting joke about him absolutely for no reason?

That's entirely possible and if you hadn't specifically given it an "OMG POLLYANNA PLEASE LOOK AT ME" title I probably would have ignored the post or only grumbled in a minor way for the usage of the term "slut"; as it is, it's stupid and makes you look desperate. Honestly, regardless of what you say, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you wouldn't have bothered with that post if you didn't think you could score a few brownie points; in the end, the senseless trashing of the figure in order to attempt to ingratiate yourself with somebody annoys me. Either trash it because you genuinely don't like it or hold your tongue. I also think there are more constructive ways to go about criticizing the figure (I.E., doing the old OMG THEY CHANGE CHARACTER or "Wow, she's going to have back problems") than immediately jumping to "OMG SLUT". Seriously, there are much more intelligent ways of criticizing something than that.

?? I really don't understand this/see how this is relevant, I was talking about the quality of the figures' molding (as a side note, they have a comparatively sloppy paint job compared to a number of previous yujin sets, as well) As I said previously, it really isn't a good argument, but I didn't feel right posting only to call you a yes-man without really addressing the topic, so I pulled at the few strings I had handy. In the end, despite the production flaws it really isn't a bad set; on the other hand, none of the figures really look like their in-game counterparts except possibly the Mai figure. Athena is way to large in all respects, Jenet's top is even lower (although the way she's standing effects this) Lily Kane is likewise too small.. actually, the Kula and Ninon ones aren't that inaccurate, either, although Kula's dress can crack easily.
Edit: Toxico, where are Kyonshies here? If we have Kyonshies, we need western zombies, too. There should be a "Zombie-off" to see what the strongest type of zombie is.. Chinese, RE, Romero, or Voodoo!

Let's just leave it at this. You don't want to argue with Red Falcon. He cares enough to go back and extensively edit his arguments and tears you apart piece by piece, including spelling. It's not worth it.
It'll get to the point where you aren't even arguing about the subject anymore. Actually, I think you're already there. For the most part, I don't think Kofoguz is being unreasonable, and even if he is, at least he's being honest rather than trying to make himself look good. Either way, arguing with Red Falcon won't do anything for him but make him look needlessly argumentative.
Red Falcon can be as annoyed as he likes, but he's already expressed that annoyance, and any further expression of it would be unecessary hate.
Neither of you are wrong, so just...give it up. Pretend like this conversation never took place. It's a waste of time.

Yes, you are right but in some points. I could criticize without *flattering* Pollyanna and say B. Jenet was brave about her appearence now she look like rubbish character. Yeah maybe I shouldnt use slut for avoiding exaggeration. Youre right about it. But (out of using proper sentence) this time I would feel like(and also seem like) that I try to look clever by stealing arguements. Really. Eventhough I think the same, it was Polly who said it loud. And I had to back it up,I cant say *shut up Polly, youre right but I think it of first so I think B. Jenet looks rubbish in those pic*. How senseble is that?
Also I could find intelligent ways (I hate to do this clichee but here we go) but due to my english its not easy to express yourself properly. Internet forums and watching movies are my only exercises to avoid forgetting how to use it.
quote: I really don't understand this/see how this is relevant
My point was giving commentary about fictionary character. It doesnt matter its statue or in game art. I mean you said what does it matter its a fictionary character (I was complaining about her dress) and I should get over it. On the other hand you could say one of those fictionary character s dress s detail is annoying.

Well, I'm really happy with this new look of hers, I find it more interesting than the previous one. In fact, I'd dare to say that her new design is even more modest and decent than any dress Mai Shiranui has ever showed since Fatal Fury Special...
It was a matter of time she'd get redesigned, for those are the ways from Occident, and what western players demand after Chun-Li first showed her blue pants. What a pity you are still not prepared to accept them. But do not worry, child of Islam : Knowing Falcoon's love for alternate costumes, I'm sure he will eventually include one who fits your needs...
Hey thats unfair and offensive. Also prejudiced. First of all its not requirement dress for islam. You just posted that photo of which reflection of sick minds who trying to rule the people with despotism and say its Islamic order which isnt reflection of the true essence of islam. They are not Islams rol models. Theyre just trying to erase women in the society, they sees women as somekind of property. Islam doesnt says that.
My sister is a teacher and she doesnt cover her hair, you know why; we believe its not an obligatory. We live in Türkiye not Afghanistan. In islam you cant force anyone to believe or make anyone to perform their religious commitment. If theyre doing this thats mean theyre breaking the law of Islam. Its simple as that. Do the math. And than dont ever but ever talk about or joke about my religion. Cause you dont know it completely (I am assuming you never read Koran before) and you have no right to give it as a example. At least from now on.
About B. Jenet, well the child of ignorance; its not about conservatism, its about *omg the character was erotic now rubbishly soft-porn character whining*, And I dont believe no matter how mystrious Polly is, she didnt follow some empty-minded *so-called islamic*, organization which terrorizing Afghanistan once, to object de-evolution of B. Jenet.

I should have know it will come to this; freedom of speech. I dont know if some people see freedom of speech equal to insult. I am a muslim so therefore I dont believe christianity as you do. If I did I would be christian as you are. Eventhough I have the freedom of speech, as I have freedom to choose, both rights doesnt make me have the right to be vulgar and insult christians and christianity. Same rules is valid when its about any other religion/belief and mine. Even for non-believers. Cause beliefs are not the subject here if noone mentioned convertion.

Thanks for advice but some of the sentences are still have pun in there. And lets make things clear. I am confident and assured my beliefs, too. Defense doesnt automatically means lack of confidence. Mostly silent is. You dont have any right to call that *critism*. You cant *criticize* something you dont know. I cant criticize a movie that I dont even see. So that means I dont have *fredom of speech* to criticize. About disproportionate whinning, since when saying *No, you cant insult me like that* means disproportionate whinning? Oh about my health, dont worry about it. But it is necessary for me to prevent some people disrespect my belief. For prevent other people get prejudice about it. Even if their miles away. Miles doesnt change the point.
quote: Oh, and please elaborate your last point (the stuff about Pollyanna) a bit more, I didn't get your point.
Your accusing me as a bigot (And those Afgan organization is something beyond bigotry, cause they are breaking lots of rules of Islam and committing sins). I believe every religion/principle has some. I dont believe Polly, refused the *evolution* of B. Jenet cause S/h/i is a bigot.
And finally, still I can understand your arrogance and therefore Im not waiting for apology ( I am almost sure you do everything to avoid and apology). But at least dont try to cover your vulgarity and justify yourself with puns and *freedom of speech*.

Technically speaking, you do have it, that's what freedom of speech means, freedom to say anything you want, even if it is insulting or offensive to any collective/society. Perhaps one shouldn't say some things, but one surely can, and whether this act brings the speaker any consecuence, that's up to him.
quote:

No puns intended, just my 2 cents. That's all.
quote:

That's the problem, you just didn't say *No, you cant insult me like that* or something like *Shut up, you Christian mongrel!!* (which was the logical reaction I expected -and desired-). No, you had to take my pun as an attack/offense instead and start a longer discussion. That's what we call in Spain "making a mountain out of a grain of sand", i.e. whinning in a disproprotionate way.
quote:

Your efforts are the ones which don't change the point. It doesn't matter how much you exert yourself on trying to convince others, everyone has his own opinion, social environment and culture, which in the end, wheight more than anything you can ever write here. That's why I sincerely suggest you to save your time and efforts.

I seldom act driven by arrogance, and I consider myself a humble person. If I thought I did anything wrong, I wouldn't hesitate on apologizing. That isn't the case though.

I think the problem here is not "freedom of speech", the problem is, that the comment about Islam was uncalled for, I mean nobody is stopping you from saying whatever you want to say, but that doesn't mean everybody is going to agree with what you're saying. You're free to insult or trash talk about anything, but that also means KoFoguz (or anyone) has the right to call on your bullshit and to say you're wrong, because you see, this so called "freedom of speech" is a double edged weapon. Just because everybody makes fun of yor religion, doesn't mean you have to do the same to others, you said it's your right to do so, but that doesn't make you right. As our gringo buddies would say "Two wrongs don't make a right". In any case, regardless of what's wrong and what's right, I think your joke was in very poor taste.

But yeah...that's a good point. It's because I'm torn between wanting to talk about things I'm excited about and being anonymous. As a result, I guess I come across as snotty and as sort of a tease. But I really don't do anything awesome, even if I am excited about it. Don't let me fool you.
But...I'll try to avoid sounding snotty or mentioning things that I'm not willing to talk about. It's not my job to make people happy, but if I'm irritating a lot of people, then I shouldn't be here in the first place.
I'm still gonna be an import snob, though. And I'm still going to hate ugly and tasteless things. Well, and I might occassionally mention how beautiful and classy I am, even if it isn't true.
