quote: Oh, please. THIS is good (better than the japanese version, in my opinion):
Link here.
Just awesome. Haha, damn! I was looking for this version, but to no avail (it never ocurred to me to look out for "Bola de dragon")! It's hilarious, and always makes me laugh.
But really, do you think this is a good version? I think the mexican one is like a billion times better, and I laugh at the reasoning of those youtube guys (Ball=Bola).
Eh, the exact same thing happens to me. The version you showed (The Mexican one?) is beyond hilarious to me (and other Spaniards). I guess it's a matter of the version you're accostumed to. Anyway, I like the lyrics of the Spanish one more, also.

Why is it hilarious? I mean, if you're talking about the accent, then I agree it is hilarious for spaniards, but if we talk about the lyrics then I don't see what's funny, yeah it has problems, but that happens with every translated song. The tone is very similar to the japanese one, and they don't say many silly things ("Pues mis golpes y Kame ame a todos respeto infunde, ya lo vais a ver" What the hel is that? haha). Now, if we could find the Catalan version, I would like to see it (Their DBZ intro is horrendous).

You called?
And, as for DBZ, this one is horrendous indeed. But in our defense (stupid national pride) I must point out it was not changed here, they just bought the French version, who back then used to cut and change the openings for some reason, and translated it. Guess it was cheaper this way. \( u_u)/
The same happened with Ranma1/2 (talk about horrendous openings, this is the worst of them all. And if you put it in "original version", the French dub comes out. Ack!), Kinnikuman, Mr. Ajikko (Le Petit Chef, anyone?), Yawara! (altho' in this case it was the American version, where they called her Ginger ¬¬) and many others. A recent example being Detective Conan, they also bought the American version this time and the openings and endings are cut/butchered/edited/skipped/etc. (u_u = u_u)
And, to both of you: to me, I grew up with this, so both Spanish versions do sound ridicule/horrible ^_^U ("Songoanda"?! Onda Vital?! Puh-leaaase...) It's just a matter of habits, I guess.
And it's even worse with Crayon Shin Chan. The Spanish dub is almost offensive. x_x
Why did you drag me into this, Onsy?
Time for some long due Samus Aran love...

The accent, of course. Both lyrics has very corny phrases, but since I was 10 I've been hearing this one, and the corny->legendary transmutation occured a long time ago. I guess something similar happened to you.
Ack, I can't see the "Bola de Drac" intro, since yesterday youtube isn't working for me...
