Chocobo to mahô no ehon on DS. I liked the two Chocobo games on PS, they were so cute there should be laws against it.
FF5 will be available in Japan the 10/12, a few days before the US version. Too bad for those who hoped for a quick bugcheck for the japanese audiences... I think it also means FF6 will be released end of january.

Outside of those two mystery buttons up top that's a surprisingly restrained controller by Nintendo's standards. That's also the first controller I've seen in some time that has the cord on the bottom. Was that battleship that the DC called a controller the last controller to feature this odd design choice?
I still don't get it. As far as I could tell the appeal of Shenmue was making Ryo sleep in flophouses by the dock and do other silly things. Does this online game just feature fighting or do you barter virtual capsule figures and take care of an infinite number of kittens?

Well, I don't need new sprites, since the sprites were the best part. I just want reworked gameplay and ESPECIALLY balance. It's stupid to have all those koma if 95% of them are useless. I think the first game made for a great 1P experience (until you won it, it got too easy and had nothing to do), but if they're pushing online vs in this one, then they'll have to have better balance.
WHEE! New lifebars! I'm glad they're releasing SOMETHING though.

ehm... More things noticed: fighting characters have a star rating (?), some new objects that have "type" (power, laugh, knowledge) like the characters (look at Jaguar being hit) and fighting characters can hold on edges now (see Eve), as in SSMB.

Yep. Use them in Persona 3, too. Generally, I can't complain, since the renders represent the art so well, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't have unique Persona designs like before.

What's ridiculous about the GS Orchestra CD? The concept, or the covers? Everything? I'll take any GS Arrange CD I can get, even if it's some guy trying to play the soundtrack on harmonica.
