PS2 PORT = Love?
Even though I don't care about the PSP and I think its laughable that its getting -another- port, I also can't help but feel envious and spurned by yet another Japanese developer.
I know Nintendo has done a lot damage to its 3rd party relationships but I also can't help but think that some 3rd party developers purposely ignore Nintendo for the sake of ignoring Nintendo.
Why hasn't Nippon Ichi released a single game on a Nintendo platform? Is it because of bad 3rd party relations? Is it because they feel loyal to Sony because they grew as a developer on the PS1? Is it Japanese stubborness? Do developers simply get sweeter deals from Sony? Is the Nintendo userbase too small? The DS and GBA have a huge userbase compared to the PSP.
Even Squaresoft finally ended their "cold war" against Nintendo. I'm sure all of their GBA/DS FF ports have been "yen raining from heaven" for them. Almost like printing money.

Maybe they are bound by contract to stay exclusive to Sony...
