Democrats have the House of Representatives (one half of our national legislature), most of the state governorships, and we're currently tied in the Senate half of the legislature with one undecided race that seems to be leaning Democratic. Also, Rumsfeld's just gone and he's been replaced by a non-neocon, it seems.
Anyone thrown a party yet? Got questions?
By the by, the Senate is a bit complicated: Democrats directly control 48 of 100 seats while the fuckwits control 49. However, there are two independents, one from Vermont who's decidedly left, and Joe Lieberman from Connecticut who left the Democratic Party and is a bitch and a half, but also has no spine so he'll probably be brutally sodomized into submission as is right and proper. And, as I said, one undecided (Virginia, with D-Jim Webb versus R-George "Welcome to America, Macaca" Allen).

Nice. The illusion of choice has finally come to the other side. Actually this might be good maybe america will be a bit saner for awhile. (Before our overlords throw some other curveball at us to take away whats left of our freedoms.)

I didn't know, but This is the first time in 12 years that the Democrats have dominated both the Senate and the House... amazing!

ya it might be cool, if the dems have any fuckin balls and take these fuckers to task, like this potential scandal for instance...
Mr Bowen said billions of dollars were shrink-wrapped in plastic and flown out of the US to Baghdad.
"It was $2bn a flight, and I know of at least six flights," he said.
Mr Bowen said some of the cash went to pay the salaries of thousands of "ghost employees", or Iraqi civil servants who did not actually exist.

I have a feeling the dems will continue being the gutless pieces of dogshit they always have been letting the war monogering giant corporation loving land raping republicans walk all over them like some redneck beating his wife into submission in a trailer park.
But hey one mans opinion.

I don't see why we can't discuss politics and other stuff I mean some of the best games have religous overtones in them, why not try to be well-rounded gamers instead of best buy stooges?

"On 'Larry King Live' Wednesday night, Bill Maher said many of 'the people who really run the underpinnings of the Republican Party are gay... Ken Mehlman, OK, there's one I think people have talked about. I don't think he's denied it.' When CNN re-aired the interview, the mention of Mehlman was edited out with no indication anything was missing.
Bill Maher rocks. Its so true, i think the difference between the 2 parties is that the gays in the republican party its just kind of a unsaid thing like in the closet style, why libs its more like fabulous in your face kinda thing. But ya i have know alot of republicans and there really is kind of a masochistic dont talk about what really going on kind of a thing.
Oh ya off completely off topic but the ps3 has seven fuckin cores in it do you think it will have nicer graphix than xbox 360?
