Actually whales are surprisingly un-tasty. Of course it's just opinion, but I would bet that most people would find whale to be mediocre at best.

I'm pretty sure that the minke whales and dolphins that they hunt aren't endangered. Sure they're cool animals, but you know, some people just like to eat them. Chickens and pigs are pretty damn smart too, and hell, octopi show signs of intelligence far beyond most other animals, but everyone considers them fair game.

By the way, I wanted to go to this whale cuisine place in Shibuya, but it was a bit too expensive for my humble taste. Might go one of these days to certain kujira zushi bar in Koganei, but I've been told raw whale is not actually that tasty...
Another mammal whose meat I'm curious to taste one of these days is the pre-teenager schoolgirl. But that's another story.

I've had whale both at the place in Shibuya and as sushi at a restaurant. Both were mediocre. I'm guessing you'll be disappointed.

I've been saving for 3 years now and I have enough money to go hunting baby seals!
The problem is, that I don't want to go alone... my brother was supposed to go with me, but now he doesn't want to, because he says the killing of baby innocent and harmless seals is not right (I thought he was a real man, but now I see he's nothing but a coward). So, who want to go with me? I'll pay for the flight and the hotel, I'll even provide you with a personalized club (It has a nail on the tip for maximum damage!).
Who want to join? it'll be fun, and I've heard we can go killing baby narvals and other evil creatures. I will film everything and upload it for what will be known as the best MMCafe adventure ever! It'll be loads of fun, I guarantee!

I don't care what ppl hunt, as long as the numbers are controlled. It doesn't do the hunters any good to wipe out their supply or endanger it.
Also dolphins are smart. They use tools and have human like relationships with ea. other. But like humans they're probably the biggest assholes of the sea. This includes raping ea. other, infancide, fratricide, jealousy, and their unusual gangster beef with porpoises. And they don't even eat their victims either. Whales are the same. A lot of ppl don't realize that they're predators and should be treated as such.
