Finally! Warzard might be kind of a letdown, but I'd still like to play it through in emulation. Hey Red Falcon, how many of your Warzard boards still work?

None. Even if I'm sort of against emulation, I don't think this game is ever going to actually be released for a home system by Capcom, so in terms of preservation this is definately good. I actually used to sort of lament that if CPS-3 encryption was never broken, that it would end up being a totally lost game as every copy of it would eventually die, and I wouldn't be surprised if Capcom doesn't have any of the data anymore... but hopefully that won't happen now. It isn't anything special, but it would be a real shame for a game to be totally "lost" like that.

This is cool. I want to play Warzard again. I found it in an arcade in Shinjuku, and I wished I could have spent more time with it.

Play to win.

You know it, it feels good to be like a 12 year-old shithead thief again.

I fondly remember the days of waiting for individual p roms to be dumped, ready for the day I can finally compile them all into one .zip file and finding a hacked Final Burn on a Spanish BB to run it!

Those were the days! I remember when SFIBM/SFR drove me to go emu to see what this whole 'KOF' thing was all about. Eggyolk, Maximoff, Ryoga, Fenix ... where are you now?

I'm not familiar with any of this, because I always played my gold-encased Neo-Geo in a diamond-studded arcade cabinet, in my magical fairy tower. Actually, I payed commoners to play FOR ME, and now that the fairyland economy has crashed and my daddy the king has been overthrown, I find myself wondering why I'm not so great at fighting games.

Maximoff is still around working with a derivative of SFR to make DC/Marvel based games.
