Strawberry is good because it refills 100% of life.
I find that red apples like Red Delicious go into a low-taste grainy-textured state much faster than other apples. Gala apples and fuji apples are good. For a fresh fruit, fuji apples keep for a bizarre and somewhat worrying amount of time, though. I've had green apples a few times, and I thought they were more sour than lemons! Refreshing to be sure, but I'm not sure that I can eat an entire one.
Nobody votes for lychee or longan?
Pineapples are great, but my mouth gets weird after eating too much fresh pineapple... even with some brine leeching.
No love for cherries?
I had a fig on my table once that, sheltered by paper, remained until it turned into a typical dried fig. No mouldering or anything.
Dates are good! They're like candy. We bought fresh dates once, and they are woody... like, imagine trying to eat sugar cane that contains no moisture. Once they sat around for awhile, they softened up and became like the dried dates you normally buy. I never knew that about them.
Ok, fine, I'm rambling because I can't pick a favourite.

I actually have tried litchi candy before. I don't like the fact that the seed's troublesome (as it's poisonious if I recall). I also like cherries and dates.
