List of stupid names japanese parents give to their kids.
I guess most of them aren't for real, but some of them have really been given to innocent children.
You can also read in one of the pages on the left several cases of children trying to kill (or killing) their parents because of their stupid names, or a list of name changes allowed 40 years ago.

I forget if those maniacs a few years ago succeeded in naming their kid 悪魔 or not. I think naming regulations saved that kid, as I recall.

Besides, naming your girl an ateji for orion(織女) is really where it's at now. Or so this site would make me believe.
