quote: The latest advice for hopeless women is what does his choice in video games say about your date. Who writes this crap?
Ted Owen, CEO, GGL, an online gaming network in Santa Monica, CA
Owen: This is your 21st-century individual who enjoys gaming and demands the best out of his experience—and probably his women. The PS3 guy enjoys life to its fullest. He is sophisticated, intelligent, enjoys competition and is willing to wait for a good thing. He is loyal as well.
Owen: That he is selfish about his passion, but he knows the Wii is acceptable because of its social interaction functionality. He is smart enough to find a way to continue to game and not scare his date away.
He sounds like he is blindly in love with Ps3. I Lol'ed. But he is right, A guy has to be loyal to Sony to buy a Ps3 right now, instead of waiting a cheaper, better version of it, like, after two years.

quote: Curious to see how TK6 will be at the end after all the changes they did after each Locktest... Was there a lot of changes between each version ? I didn't follow it at all, could you elaborate ?
Well I don't remember all the changes(and most of them being moves changes like command input or damage/propriéties changes), But I rememebr a lot of complain on the TZ forums and each time a locktest was set a part of those comments did disapear. one of the most easy to remember were the "flaming hand" effet and the 2P costumes. at the bigining when the rage mode was set, more damage on you means more power and in order to show that Namco did put some flame on the characters fist... But this didn't fit to the fans, so they've changed it to a red effect during impact. Peoples did complain as welle that the 1st LT only have 1P costume, quite difficult during mirror match, than namco did add the 2P costume, and a 3P costume which is just a ramdom edit of the characters with randoms items on him. there was some other changes like air damageground and wall possibility or such...Still there is one complain Namco seems to be stupid enough to not change. Some characters misses to the cast, and for exemple after the HUGE mess the "Kunimitsu come back" for TK5DR was made poeples were sure to find her in TK6, sadly no, and same for some other characters like ogre or Unknow...Curious to know why Namco didn't make it.
On an other hand many TK fans take TK6 as a an edit like TK5DR + or VF4 evo, not like a real sequel.
BTW Thank ishmael.

Aren't both Kunimitsu and Ogre dead (or at least considered dead) in the Tekken storyline? If I'm not mistaken, the same applies to Jun Kazama...
As for Unknown, is she even a canon character?
I'm fine with the T6 characters; the only weird choice is putting again Marshall Law in it. I mean, why did Namco even created Forrest to substitute his father if he was only used in Tekken 3 (oh, and Tag Tournament)??
It would be nice also if Michelle was in it, but that's not happening, probably. I hope at least this time Julia's story mentions her...
I can be any person in the world ... maybe I'm this person right in front of you ... or maybe I'm not !!

With all the supposely dead characters returning in 5, I'm sure Jun's disappearance will be used someday, especially now her son turned evil.

Forrest's scenario and personality suck. Marshall, on the other hand, is one of the best funny characters (far better than, say, Panda. I'm really disappointed in her since the last two games).

Well, while after 3 and in 4, A LOT of characters where "assumed" dead, after 5 very few of those deaths where confirmed, if we look at tekken history, we'll have something like.
Kazuya -> dead, and ressurected Devil -> dead, and ressurected but has never properly apeared again Jun -> stated as dead in 3 and 4 Kuma 1st -> stated as dead, had a succesor King 1st -> dead, but had a succesor Armor king -> dead, and "dark ressurected" Jack -> destroyed and reconstructed for almost every tournament Ogre -> stated as dead in 4 and 5
Perhaps I'm missing someone =V

Yeah, after Tekken 3 came out some of the more bloodthirsty fans thought that everyone who wasn't in the game had been killed. Instead, most of them just got older and grew facial hair. I'm sure Bruce, Wang and the rest were given up for dead for awhile. Of the currently "dead" characters I'll bet that Jun and Kunimitsu will turn up again as soon as Namco can figure out a reason for them to still be eighteen years old. At this point the only Tekken character who probably remain in limbo is poor Alex.

Well none of Kuni and Ogre are said dead. Really only Jun, King, and Kuma are...Some of the jack( Gun, prototype)as well but robots can be repared. Kuni was just stated as Defeated. Ogre was the same defeated (his a god after all) and even in TK5 action gamen jin did fight ogre or a similar beast, then again in Dragunov's ending something let you think that ogre is alive (Drag found a unknow life form frozen, and awake it with devil jin power)...Add to the mix the new TK6 boss with looks similar...So Ogre can come back.

no, and that's why peoples wants her in a "real" episode , in order to learn more about her and to gives her a true role.
I hope that Namco will change their mind and add TRC in tK6 (which is said as a "no" for the moment) and and those missing characters.
