Looking at the ingame graphics of Commando 3, that cartoony character appearing on screen looks totally retarded.

Call me old school but I really don't like the 3D in this game. MERCS (aka Commando 2) was so splendid with its outdated 2D.

...and I forgot to say, but I think the best way to handle those sequels to past arcade hits is the way Konami did with Contra 4: * offer a 2D sequel with the same gameplay + new moves, weapons, power-ups, etc. (think Double Dragon Advance, too) * include the previous games as a bonus * develop the game on the DS

Anything like a 4 player MERCS DS game would be sweeeet! Also, Double Dragon Advance is my God!
