Just came across this thing, it's some kind of fan-made movie that pits DoA characters against Final Fantasy (mostly X-2) and for some reason it's awesome.
The author goes by Monty Oum, and I don't know much about the guy except that he also did another one called Haloid which pits Master Chief against Samus Aran with, uh, a surprise end.
Anyway, I figured it was worth mentioning becuase of the quality.

At first I thought that this would be some sort of video montage from their respective games. After viewing the videos, this guy is good. I wonder how long did it take him to complete each video.

I saw the Haloid video a while back and was really impressed. I find it even more amazing that people can harness the assets of these games and used them in these kinds of projects. Just look at what's being done with Gmod--DOA characters, Mario, Zelda: TP, etc...

Yeah, I saw those two up at work... I really wouldn't mind getting my hands on some game models to play around with and do some of my own animations like that.

It's a PHP script I got from another Cafe member a while back... if your server supports PHP, then I could paste in the code and instructions for you.
