Ahoy Juan, I saw your Imageuploader post, nice Terry and ehh stained... with your butt hat?
I can't seem to get the error though, please write back if it continues to persist. Just try drawing a letter or something and see if it uploads without problems.
[Update] It seems that the security permissions on Firefox's Java gets set up too strictly on newer installments. This may solve the issue.
In C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_03\lib\security (blue part will be different depending on your Java version)
underneath where it says permission java.net.SocketPermission "localhost:1024-", "listen";
I tried clearing the cache and reinstalling the latest version of java. Also went to another paintchat that uses a variation of ShiPaint and worked fine. I see a port there so maybe something is botched on my side. oh god i am no good with computers how did this get here

[edit] waiting, gonna go eat dinner in meantime.
It seems that Firefox users with newer versions of Java (6 and higher?) are reporting on the issue. Can you see if the trick updated in my original post works?

Found the file under the security directory (java.policy) that had the lines to be added. Just want to make sure if it is supposed to look like this or if i need to get another program. Those extra characters and strange formatting look weird: notepad stuff

Humm, looks like this file is saved in binary format rather than normal text.. I think you can edit it in Wordpad rather than notepad, but let's be on the safe side and check beforehand. Can you zip the file and upload it to the Imagebbs?

cool, file uploaded
Weird, I can read it totally normally on notepad!
Anyhoos, I've added the change and uploaded it. If you want, you can just make a backup of your current file and use that instead.
