SO does anyone play kaillerra with final burn or anything online? I want to play marvel vs. capcom against someone on this board.
How well do those emulators work online?
Does the lag throw off the gameplay much?

The emulators work perfectly. However, lag is present, and I find that a ping of over 70 ms makes the lag too important. That means I can only play online against other European people, and only on European servers. Trying to play against people on other regions makes the lag skyrocket.
That's regarding Kaillera. I haven't tried GGPO yet, but people say it makes matches practically lagless.

Well I can't compare it to Kaillera since I've never used that, but I've been playing KoF98 on GGPO for several months and I can say that I have very few problems with it in the 200-and-below ping range. There are occasional anomalies of lag and latency, and it can get bad on weekends when the servers are swamped, but it's usually pretty smooth.
