Merry Christmas!
As far as I know, Japan is the only country to serve strawberry sponge cakes and KFC for christmas. That, and now the mickey-d's in the non-gaming thread. Oh the calories.

I am always late to this kind of thing (or in this case I am stuck in the nightmare of travel horror for several days). But I have returned unscathed! Too bad so much of this season involves screaming red-faced people in airports.
Could you share what happened? Where were you in the world when you got stuck in the airport? I knew that a good part of the eastern seaboard of the U.S. got hit pretty good. It snowed over in parts of Europe and the U.K. too did it not?
Ah, times like these, I am glad I am in tropical weather.

Ehhhh, while I live on the US west coast, my entire family lives on the US east coast, near Baltimore. I try and go see them each year at Xmastime, but anyone who has ever traveled in the US at this time of year knows that it's nearly apocalyptic here. On top of all that there was a major threat of snow calling into question whether or not I would make it back home.
To bad it's nothing more exciting (EDIT: or lurid). There goes my jet-setting reputation, eh?
As far as the red faced fellows, there will always be those who feel that screaming accomplishes things that just asking nicely won't.
