Last month I went to the opening of Katsuya Terada's second solo art exhibit in the US, Terra's Black Marker.
I wrote a blog post about it. I know there are some Terada fans on this board, so I thought I'd share. Hope you enjoy it!
Yes, that was an amazing show! I was happy to see that you had posted a photograph of my very favorite piece, which I very nearly bought (but did not because some killjoy had already bought it).

Hehe that one would have been very meaningful!
I have to admit, after I got back home I broke down and ordered every single Spiral print from the compound gallery website.
It was great hanging out with you that weekend dude. I'm really impressed by how many people came out to the show. It's great to be in a place that can sustain a gallery like that. Portland is magic!

Ack, I came sooo close to ordering them too-- I probably would have if I hadn't been getting on a plane a few days afterward.
I had a great time too, and I'm especially glad that you enjoyed Portland so much. You've really just scratched the surface of interesting things to see here! Like the Zoobombers.
This guy did some cool stuff for Culdcept Saga. I wasn't really aware of his other work. Looks like there were some really interesting pieces at that show.
