I wake up late for work. By the time, I reach the highway, I get a phone call on my cellular. Telling me that I do not have to be in work until tomorrow.
Just to think that this is a blessing. I turn around to traverse home. Thinking it would be a good idea to thaw out some kalbi short ribs for dinner tonight. Upon opening up my ice chest, I realized it was not freezing as it should. Still plugged in and the light indicator is lit. All the frozen sustenance are thawed out and spoiled. All $400 of food from Costco. If you include the ice chest, I am at a lost of nearly $1000.
As I am typing this, Mac OS X Lion finished downloading and I am trying to burn it to a DVD disk as I followed MANY websites stating the same bumbaclaat ting. It errors out as it is burning. The DVD disc write ON the blank DVD is too fast? Really? So now i am attempting to make a boot thumb drive with Lion. I have another hour or so until it finishes.
It is still around 9 am Hawaii time.
Should I even bother to run errands or stay in bed on days like this?
After an unnatural dry season a "general water shortage" winter has started with some completely over the top rain periods, as consequence my old house weakened and "totally" flooded itself and I had to scrub the water in the morning.
- Insomnia (I slept 2 hours) - Pets went crazy due to the lighting. - The dog of the neighbour got in. - I got sick. - I need to wash 90% of my wardrobe (don't ask). - "General services" like garbage haven't arrived (they probably took the day off) - Power shortage until some time ago. - The bathroom broke and started leaking. - Part of the ceiling fell down. - Some birds broke something in my backyard and are eating it up (they are right behind me separated by the glass of the window). I don't fell like going to argue them to stop right now.

While you should run some errands while you have the time you also need to cleanse your palate. If you try to push yourself to do chores with your current outlook your luck is going to continue to be bad. I would suggest treating yourself by going out to eat this afternoon. Invite your girlfriend along and make it an impromptu special occasion. If your girlfriend can't make it take your wife instead.
As for Toxico, he might want to cut his losses by burning the place down and starting over from scratch. It would probably save time.
