Games are educational, they are like interactive books. No matter how crappy simple they are it’s always have a point. This is a thread about how games can be educational. So give your example. Here is mine:
I liked spore on PC, i know is the same tactics american game crap i have seen since little and… erm… erm never like them. But i liked the friendly simple concept of evolution and the development of a civilization and the world combined with the gameplay changes. I think is a simple example of what life is about.
Sadly the way I was playing it was the North American way: hell to diplomacy, hell to religion, hell to making deals and attack. Yeah, a military based world, which is not a good example but for me it was the easiest way to deal with the game. Anyway I never beat it because the computer RAM crashed. But I almost got it.

Talk of Spore always reminds me of Evo for the SNES. It was tons of fun, had great story and made survival feel like a valiant struggle.
The part where your dinosaur friend tells you to eat him so you can grow stronger and propogate the species was pretty awesome.

Do community service first, then travel. Then you can really see how at the core, all people are the same and have the same wants and desires.

quote:I think if I never got out of my home town, I would never be the asshole that I am today.
Travel the world, be a sarcastic asshole at work and be lovable at home.
