Ha! I looked at it a couple times in the last months, but I couldn't bring it back to my mind when answering to this topic. Makes sense LOL.

Aye, it's true, and Conan Doyle reports your risk is grave: "...His agents are numerous and splendidly organized. [Hello!] If there a crime to be done, a paper to be abstracted, we will say, a house to be rifled, a man to be removed -- the word is passed to the Professor, the matter is organized and carried out. The agent may be caught. In that case money is found for his bail or his defence. But the central power which uses the agent is never caught -- never so much as suspected."
But if you're lucky, you'll be able to escape by the power of baritsu!

I would like to use this space to point out that durin the first 5 to 10 years that I was visiting this place I never, not once; doubted that the MMCafe was an actual cafe or cybercafe somewhere in Japan.
I think the misunderstanding was born out of the professor using seveal images of an actual cafe for the site, and I think he even had an image of himself in all youthful Elton John like hipster glory (so, I 'deduced' that the images of himself + the images from 'his place' were completely real. To know no deceit, those were surely among my tender years).
COFFEE IS IN MY BLOOD One day I will become a Coffee tycoon, and when I do I'll start selling Biotoxicinorganic Coffee. One drink and you'll be saying STAAAARS.....
Very nice Photo! I wonder where that is, Tokyo station? I'm certainly going to have to check out their coffee!

Well, Krispy Kreme Shinjuku Southern Terrace was the Cafe annex at least! If you pass the old man by the street lamp and hop into the third time gate from the right at the Brink of Time, you too can experience it! Just don't go to the Day of Lavos by accident...

Bon appétit!
The 4.22.17 message intrigues me. Is it some sort of Hideo Kojima-esque hidden message? If so, what does it mean? Is it the release date of DLC characters for KoF14? Is it a notification that I am overdue in filing my federal income tax returns? The suspense is killing me.

It's the date from when the visitor counter on the top page started running 20 years ago hahaha
Now what to actually do with that site's design after I get rid of the mockup... probably flood it with doodle art or something

THEY HAVE EARL GREY DONUTS NOW or so at least in the other branch in Shinjuku which I'm unsure whether it's worthy of becoming the next MMCafe rest house. They also have a Creme Brulee donut there but it looks totally burnt OH MY EYES someone there doesn't know how to caramlize correctly

While the newest imagining of Professor Moriarty is widely believed to be the Dublin-accepted criminal mastermind on BBC, it is actually the mild-mannered proprietor of a virtual cafe. I know what you did with that chocolate cake "tax." Come, Watson, the game is afoot!

Let's do some taste-testing in the near future. Failing that, Maese's abovementioned favorite Cafe Zenon is thematically apt. And tasty!
