I believe nobody at the Cafe lives in Hokkaido (we currently have about 5 members & ex-members living in Japan). My heart goes to the casualties-- it probably did more economic damage than the tornado that just came by.
The quake measured a sesmic intensity of 7 in some regions which is as far as quakes can go-- there's only been 4 reported cases in the past two decades or so going that high for Japan.

Damn, I was just watching footage of the tornado ripping storage sheds off the roofs of various buildings in Japan and now this. Stay safe in Japan y'all!
