Old-school gamers may recall the Japanese PC game publisher Elf with either fond memories or just out of humor. The company was an eroge powerhouse in the 1990s with titles like the Dragon Knight and Isaku series, and also some general-audience titles like YU-NO that became a hit on home consoles. After 27 years, the company announced their closure in October.
Elf's remaining heritage on the Internet--namely their web site, will also be shutting down at the end of this month. The company recently announced that the site will be gone on March 31; their customer support will remain in operation. If you haven't checked the company in years, these will be your last weeks.
