KOF14's playable demo has been making its way around various events, but so far its roster has been pretty lacking in comparison to what's been shown in in the rapid release of the trailers. That's going to be changing pretty soon.
According to the latest Announcement by SNKPlaymore via Twitter, the next playable build which will be for KVO x TSB 2016 in Osaka (April 29- May 1) will feature over 20 characters. This month's build at Seoul's PlayStation Area had 9 characters's, so it's certainly going to be a huge leap.
The trailers for KOF14 up to date have shown a total of 23 characters, and a new trailer is coming soon as well. [update: the new trailer reveals 3 additional characters, bringing the total to 26.]
And it seems that SNKPlaymore really plans to give some additional push on showing this new demo at their hometown of Osaka; the company will be giving out novelty goods. The first 500 people that try out the demo will get a fan, and players that enter the exhibition tournament will get a complimentary KOF14 logo designed scarf-sized towel.
