Spreading like wildfire on the internet, the news of a 3D King Of Fighters has been proved a rumor. This rumor first started when Gamest magazine posted pictures of a 3D Geese Howard, Eiji Kisaragi and Rody Birts fighting each other. This in fact was a set of well done CGs predicting what KoF98 may look like, and at the end of the 2 page article was a guess that the old USA team will ressurect.
This article is present in Gamest Vol 209. In Gamest
Vol 210 the continuation is written, with even more CGs and prediction
of teams, one which even included Todo.

Squresoft's announced the release of the arranged soundtrack for Final Fantasy 7. According to head musician and FF7 music composer Nobuo Uematsu, the CD will include 19 scores based on player's reply letters. Nobuo stated that player's opinions and his were not always the same, as for an example he hated Rufus theme but players liked it.
Included in the 19 tracks are 3 scores which are orchestrated. Nobuo comments that this CD's orchestrated music is perhaps the best in the Final Fantasy series since he took time and effort to contact and keep relations with the musitians instead of just giving them the scores and a sample music, telling them the best of luck like the way he previously has.
The CD is due on sale 10/22/97 in Japan, but no date
for the US is known at this moment.

SNK Released the list of Characters
to be in their New 3D Samurai Shodown. The following are the members.
Haoh-Maru
Genjuro
Nakoruru
Rimururu
Ukyo
Hanzo
Galford
Sogetsu
Kazuki
Yagyu Hanma
Shiki
The last two characters are totally new.
Yagyu seems to be releated to the SS series's Jubei,
since they both have the same name. Shiki is a Japanese female character
with Tatoos on her body, including her back.
The Game seems to be concentrated on 3D playability.
For instance, the Shouji wallpaper may break during the fight, revealing
a new room to fight, or the flooring may open up, resulting in the same
surprise.
