I don't think I've talked about this yet here, but does anyone here watch this show on Comedy Central? I like it.

I don't care for it. I tend not to like those "let's annoy people in public places" shows.

Same here. They're just being rude and unfunny to people. It's like watching a Tom Green day dream.

I don't think it's comparable to Tom Green really, because it has a lot of different characters that are used, and it isn't about annoying people necessarily, though some of the scenarios are.

i watch it from time to time. it's very amusing and sometimes it gets a laugh out of me. i don't see it as "rude and unfunny to people." to me it's "giving people a highlight of the day." same with tom green and jackass. i love these shows!

At first I wasn't gonna give it a chance because I had already been spoiled enough by the likes of Jackass and Tom Green. But eventually I did give it a try, and I even grew into it a little. It's not as much as deliberately idiotic as say the Tom Green show or Jackass as it is wacky or just plain disturbing, and M.Bison loves that combination.

I especially like the raver icecream man scenario.

Back to programming ...programming my evil demonic destructo ray of destruction that is, ha ha ha

What I mean is that I've seen both shows do things to innocent people on the street. Yes, Tom Green is much worse. Trigger Happy TV is like a watered down Tom Green. It's like if Tom Green had a lobodomy, maybe T.H.T.V. is what he'd think about.

Yeah, I think it's kinda boring. Some of the schetches have promise, but then they end to soon, or they just don't go anywhere. I though the one where the supermarket intercom guy was telling the police that some woman was stealing stuff was funny, though.

(I realise you started the thread about something you kinda like- and then to have someone come in and say they don't like it might be unfun. I saw a bbs subject I had an opinion on so I just shared it naturally~ well I just wanted to say that the board has made it through a lot of threads with disagreements lately without getting personal and heated. good)

What other shows do you and everyone like? I'm waiting for new Futurama next time fox feels like playing it and not preepting it. piece

We would be able to watch freaking tv on fox if they didnt try to get every sporting event as possible. And i can do without an endless stream of overly dramatic drama whore David E. Kelly shows...

I think the Tom Green type shows have been played out. Big deal if you surprise someone and catch it on tape.

I've only seen ads for THTV but I think its considerably better then Tom Green because its angle is different. Its not necessarily about going after someone and shocking them, but about doing something just off the wall and disturbing. Like the squirrel sketch or the turtle sketch. Its just weird and bizarre and unexpected. How is this different then Tom Green or Jackass, well those shows are just about pulling pranks on people. You're not necessarily pranking on anyone in THTV.

Enough with the shock, its getting old.

Well, I believe the victim when the squirrel's assault them is a set up and not really "helpless" but I think you know that too. I actually consider Jackass to be different from Tom Green because a lot of the stuff isn't practical jokes, some of it is just them doing really stupid things. I find it very funny.
