SNK releases details on Super Real Mahjong -Premium Collection-       - 1.18.01

SNK has announced details to release the latest in the popular Mahjong game series "Super Real Mahjong": Super Real Mahjong -Premium Collection-, for the NeoGeoPocket Color.z



Super Real Mahjong -Premium Collection- -a strip Mahjong game, will be the the first Adult oriented game released for a portable game system. Likewise, it will also be the first game to be created between two companies under the Aruze Group- SNK and Seta. Seta, known for their Mahjong games, is the original creator of the Super Real Mahjong series, and also its current copyright owner.

The game production is currently 95% complete. SNK plans to sell the game by retail methods, wholesale and direct sales through reservation. Reserved customers for direct sale will also recieve a special gift, yet unknown.


The following are details on the game-


Characters
1- 7 characters will be available to play against in the game,.
2- All 7 will be characters featured from 3 of the past games in the Super Real Mahjong Series.

Game details
1- Mahjong's display and Algorithm, will be quick and responsive.
2- The game will include Help functions, useful for Mahjong novices.
3- For convenience as a portable game, the game can be turned off and on, with continual play at any time.

Graphics
1- Fine, Arcade quality strip animation will be present in the game.
2- Images used in the latest arcade release, Super Real Mahjong VS, will also be present.
3- Original images will also be added.

Etc.
1- The NeoGeo Pocket Color will include an original storyline.
2- An Original panel flipping game will also be included as an original game mode. By winning in this game, Character's Costume-play images can be gained.



Super Real Mahjong -Premium Collection-, is scheduled for released in March for NeoGeo Pocket Color, price still undetermined. Suggested audience: age 18 and over.
