Capcom and SNK released additional news on their mutual fighting game project for the arcade and Dreamcast, "SNK vs Capcom".  
   
As mentioned previously, SNK vs Capcom will have 20-30 characters. 12 characters have been announced up to the current-
SNK- Kyo, Iori, Terry, Mai, Benimaru, Raiden
Capcom- Ryu, Ken, Guile, Chunli, Blanka, Zangief

The images of Blanka, Zangief, Ken, Raiden, Beniaru and Terry has been now released, as well as new poses for the characters previously shown. Note that -for the SNK characters, some of their attack and damage poses are different from their originals.

New damage pose for Benimaru and other SNK charas

The following new points were made clear by Capcom's producer Funamizu.

1- The basic concept of the game is "StreetFighrer vs King Of Fighters".
2- Street Fighter characters are based on their Zero/Alpha3 models, but some characters will be remade.
3- Benimaru is in a new castume since he is known to wear differently in every game.
4- The game is played with 4 buttons and not 6, since it complys bettwe with the Dreamcast.
5- The game is currently about 30% complete.
6- There will be no new/original characters this time around. (hint)

SNK vs Capcom is schedueld for release in the year 2000. Funamizu comments that the game is schedueld to be near to completion by the beginning of next year.
